"This place has ruined me for all other breakfast / brunch places. Seriously.
The service here is really incredible. Even when it's busy with a line out the door, they get you seated quickly, often accommodating large parties. You're greeted instantly with water and an inquiry of what else you want to drink. They have multiple kinds of mimosas that are mostly champagne, so well worth the price, the juices are fresh squeezed and the ice tea is FRESH brewed (which is huge for me). They have so much on the menu from omelets, tofu scrambles, eggs Benedict, pancakes, French toast, huge cinnamon rolls, to a number of unique and often complex daily specials. Everything I've ever tried it top notch. But yes, it does get a little pricey when you start making substitutions... but usually the servers figure out the cheapest way to accommodate my finicky palate. The food comes out quickly and your drinks are never empty... you can hear the staff always calling out "water/coffee needs to go around" so it's apparent they are no slackers. The servers are always friendly and attentive, again even on a busy Sunday. They have a handful of regulars that make the place even more homey. The lunch items are also yummy, I've had the tuna salad (awesome), many of their large proportioned sandwiches and the decadent onion rings.
There is no other place like CJs and I'm reminded of this every time I try another supposed great breakfast joint. " - Andrea H.
"Good comfort food, hearty portions, quick and friendly service.
We went here for a Sunday morning brunch and luckily didn't have to wait too much. The ambience is like any classic brunch place with friendly smily faces all around." - Rohan K.
"This is a great breakfast spot that will fill you up! The place is small but the will seat you quickly and they have a ton a different options to pick from. I go the veggie sauté with tofu, so
good! Lots of veggies and hashbrowns. Also I tried the oatmeal, really good with lots of fresh fruit.
This place is great. Lots of great omelets and dishes to try. Again, I have heard how great this place is. And I am so glad I went.
Great breakfast in Seattle!" - Diane S.
"CJ's Eatery has the best swedish pancakes. My hubby tried it per staff recommendation on our first visit. We returned for a second time during our trip to Seattle and we both got swedish
pancakes! Delicious!!!" - Winnie S.
"I'd definitely come back here on my next trip and I think my family would as well. My mom's husband even kept remarking it was one of the best breakfasts he's had in a long time." - Casie G.
"My wife and I go to CJ's every Sunday when we are in town. The food and service is wonderful. The staff is also fantastic. We love this place!" - John B.
"I adore this place! I live on the hill but will trek all the way down to belltown for brunch. The staff is great and always friendly, even remembered me and my friends between visits." - Christina C.
"We loved it. Service was fast and friendly. I think everything is good there, we had eggs benedict, yummy." - Susan M.
"I have never had a bad breakfast here. I have eaten here roughly once a month since I was 8 years old and my dad took me here before we went to garage sales.
They execute comfort items really well, the corned beef hash and biscuits and gravy here are both excellent, they have a number of rotating specials and pastries that are much different every time I stop in, and aside from crowded weekends, service is fast, super friendly and knowledgeable. Stop here some time for breakfast and you'll find yourself going out of your way for it some mornings." - Jesse W.
